In the beginning of January Lily was brought into the shelter by one of our animal control officers. She was found alone in the rain. Lily was underweight and she had a severe case of mange. Although she has seen some hard times Lily is an absolute sweetheart to everyone she meets. Shortly after coming to the shelter she was lucky enough to find a loving foster mom. Her care included medication and routine medicated baths that her foster mom gave her. She has been a trooper throughout this entire process. After three months of care Lily has gained 18 pounds and her skin has almost completely cleared up. Here are just a few photos of her recovery.
